RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborating closely with the Business Development team to execute market research, identify potential clientele, and gather valuable market insights.
• Acquiring skills to aid in the creation of compelling business proposals, presentations, and sales materials for client interactions.
• Supporting the team in keeping the client database current and accurate, ensuring the availability of up-to-date information.
• Assisting in monitoring and managing sales leads, pursuing prospects, and maintaining a clear communication record.
• Engaging in brainstorming sessions to contribute innovative ideas that drive business expansion.
• Learning to analyze industry trends and competitor activities, providing data to aid strategic decision-making.
• Contributing to the preparation of progress reports, forecasts, and documents for both internal and external use.
• Engaging in extra tasks and special projects to propel the goals of the Business Development Department.

REQUIREMENTS

• Currently pursuing a Degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a relevant field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Exceptional communication skills in both written and spoken English.
• Ability to work independently while fostering collaborative teamwork.
• Possessing strong organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Demonstrating a keen interest in business development and staying attuned to market trends.
• Willingness to be stationed at our Langkawi Island location.
• Displaying an analytical mindset, meticulous attention to detail, and a proactive approach.
• Prior experience is not obligatory but would be a valuable addition.
