Job Description

Area of Responsibility

    • Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and facilitating the hiring process.
    • Handle employee grievances, conflicts, and disciplinary issues. Foster positive employee relations and a healthy work environment.
    • Implement and manage performance appraisal processes, including goal setting, feedback, and performance improvement plans.
    • Identify training needs, coordinate training programs, and support employee development initiatives.
    • Administer and manage compensation and benefits programs, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and industry standards.
    • Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations in Malaysia.
    • Develop and implement strategies to enhance employee engagement, morale, and overall job satisfaction.
    • Manage HR administrative tasks, including maintaining employee records, handling documentation, and ensuring data accuracy.
    • Stay updated on labor laws and regulations in Malaysia and ensure the organization's compliance with statutory requirements.
    • Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires and manage the exit process for departing employees.
    • Generate HR reports and analytics to support decision-making and strategic planning.
    • Oversee employee welfare programs and initiatives, fostering a healthy work-life balance.

Requirements

    • A bachelor's degree/ Diploma in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • 2-5 years of relevant experience in HR roles, with exposure to various HR functions.
    • Thorough understanding of Malaysian labor laws and regulations.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and relationship-building.
    • Familiarity with HRIS (Human Resource Information System) and other HR-related software.
    • Ability to analyze HR-related issues and provide effective solutions.
    • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic and changing business environment.
    • High ethical standards and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
    • Professional certifications in HR, such as Malaysian HR Certification (MHC) or similar, can be an added advantage.
